Jakarta - Banjir yang mengguyur Jakarta beberapa hari lalu membuat sejumlah lokasi di ibukota banjir. Internet, jadi media yang digunakan warga Jakarta untuk mencari tahu informasi terkini seputar banjir.
Dalam laporan Pencarian Terhangat Google Indonesia sepanjang 11 - 17 Januari 2013, kata kunci "Banjir di Jakarta" adalah yang paling banyak dimasukkan dalam mesin pencari Google.
Tak hanya mesin pencari, beberapa platform milik Google juga digunakan untuk memberi informasi seputar banjir. Ada Google Crisis Response, yang menyajikan informasi lokasi-lokasi banjir di Jakarta. Bahkan, layanan ini juga memperlihatkan kondisi lalu lintas yang macet akibat banjir.
Di dalam Google Crisis Response juga terdapat beberapa nomor telepon penting dari lembaga pemerintah DKI Jakarta maupun swadaya masyarakat, yang dapat dihubungi oleh warga untuk mendapat bantuan dan evakuasi.
Selain layanan Google, jejaring sosial Twitter juga banyak digunakan untuk mencari informasi terkini. Beberapa akun Twitter yang memberi informasi banjir antara lain @TMCPoldaMetro dan @LewatMana.
Situs web pemberi informasi lalu lintas LewatMana.com juga laris dikunjungi dalam sepekan ini. LewatMana memperlihatkan kondisi lalu lintas dan gambar dari CCTV. Ia menduduki peringkat 10 Pencarian Terhangat Google Indonesia pada 11 - 17 Januari 2013.
Dalam sepekan ini, warga juga ingin tahu soal perkiraan cuaca dengan memasukkan kata kunci BMKG di mesin pencari Google. BMKG (Badan Meteorologi Klimatologi dan Geofisika) masuk ke posisi 9 sebagai topik yang paling dicari di Google Indonesia pekan ini. (Sumber: kompas.com)
